Xiaomi sells 8 Lakh units of Redmi Note 2 in just 12 hours

New Delhi: smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi China managed to sell a whopping eight lakh units within 12 hours, which is a new record sales of smartphones for a Chinese company. The smartphone, which was announced last week, was on sale in China on Sunday flash Zeenews. Xiaomi has also made its presence in the Guinness book of world prior to the sale of a total 2.11 million smartphones within 24 hours China records.

It has a 13MP snapper rear and a front camera of 5 megapixels. The latest device company MIUI 7 is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop works. The device is now lighter than its predecessor at 160 grams and measures 152 mm x 76 mm x 8.25mm. It is powered by a battery of 3020 mAh.
